COTELCO celebrated its 46th Founding Anniversary Program in a simple yet memorable celebration.
The celebration kicked off with a bloodletting activity where 53 blood bags were collected from employees on May 07, 2018.
Zumba and fun run were among the activities during the celebration.
The foundation anniversary festivities would be incomplete without the sports fest dubbed as 3rd GM Homez Inter color competition that started prior to the anniversary.
The sports events focused on promoting work life balance and maintaining high productivity among COTELCO employees.
Holy mass was held at NCCECO-MCO gymnasium in the morning of May 16 to give gratitude to our Creator for guiding COTELCO through the past 46 years and for the years to come.
Another attraction during the celebration, for the first time the cooperative held a pole rodeo competition which showcased the technical skills of COTELCO’s linemen. Area 3 linemen composed of Magpet, Makilala and Kidapawan were declared victors.
On the evening of May 16, 2018, COTELCO Inc. hosted a program in recognition of service awardees for rendering 10, 25, 30, and 35 years to the organization. (10 years: Allan Roy A. Soriano; 25 years: Jocelyn C. Fortinez, Dante F. Dela Cruz, Romeo B. Mesicula Jr., Leonora B. Marimon, Cresmasita L. Golosino; 30 years: Maria Shellah L. Genota, Nazarino A. Fordan; 35 years in service: Dioscoro F. Monreal).
One of the highlights of the recognition program was the modern dance contest participated by COTELCO employees who were grouped into four. The yellow team emerged as the winner, followed by the blue team, green team and red team.
Present during the celebration were COTELCO Board of Directors, General Manager Engr. Godofredo B. Homez, Department Managers and all COTELCO employees.
Indeed, the 46th Anniversary was a celebration of public service with the theme “The Vision Lives On” as COTELCO continues to provide light and power to every household while it continues to work hard in order to provide its member-consumer-owners a quality service for a brighter and better tomorrow.
