Notice of Virtual Hearing for Joint Application of COTELCO and MPI – ERC Case No. 2026-093 RC
Notice is hereby given that on 25 June 2026, Cotabato Electric Cooperative Inc. (COTELCO) and Malita Power Inc. (MPI) filed a Joint Application dated 29 May 2026 seeking the Commission’s approval of their Emergency Power Supply Agreement (EPSA), together with a motion for confidential treatment of information. The docketed copy of the Joint Application, excluding its annexes, is attached as Annex “A” of the Notice of Virtual Hearing. The Commission has set the Joint Application for hearing through Microsoft Teams, with the following schedule:
-11 August 2026 (Tuesday), 2:00 P.M. – Determination of compliance with jurisdictional requirements and Expository Presentation
-18 August 2026 (Tuesday), 2:00 P.M. – Pre-Trial Conference and Presentation of Evidence
Order of Virtual Hearing for Joint Application of COTELCO and MPI – ERC Case No. 2026-093 RC
Cotabato Electric Cooperative, Inc. (COTELCO) and Malita Power Inc. (MPI) filed a Joint Application dated 29 May 2026 seeking the Commission’s approval of their Emergency Power Supply Agreement (EPSA), with a motion for confidential treatment of information. Finding the application sufficient in form and noting that the required fees had been paid, the Commission scheduled the proceedings via Microsoft Teams. The Determination of Compliance with jurisdictional requirements and Expository Presentation is set for 11 August 2026 at 2:00 P.M., followed by the Pre-Trial Conference and Presentation of Evidence on 18 August 2026 at 2:00 P.M
JOINT APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY AGREEMENT
Joint Application for Approval of Emergency Power Supply Agreement dated 25 March 2026, with a Motion for Confidential Treatment of Information.
The Applicants are Malita Power Inc. (MPI), formerly San Miguel Consolidated Power Company, and Cotabato Electric Cooperative, Inc. (COTELCO), collectively referred to as the “Applicants.” Through their respective undersigned counsel, they respectfully submit the application to the Honorable Commission.

Pursuant to Department of Energy (DOE) Circular No. 2023-06-0021, Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) Resolution No. 16, Series of 2023 and National Electrification Administration (NEA) Memorandum No. 2023-57, COTELCO, thru its Bids and Awards Committee for Power Supply Procurement (BAC-PSP), invites all interested and qualified Bidders to participate for the DIRECT NEGOTIATION for the 3MW Supply Renewable Energy under a Power Supply Agreement.
