Another milestone was achieved by the Cotabato Electric Cooperative Inc. with more than 16,000 member-consumers who actively participated the 36th Annual General Membership Assembly at the Amas Provincial Gymnasium in Kidapawan City and in Magpet Gymnasium via video link on July 08, 2018.
Despite the humid weather and overcrowded venue, COTELCO valued member-consumers were all ears for the messages and annual reports presented during the AGMA.
Hon.Romeo Montenegro, deputy executive director of Mindanao Development Authority delivered his message as the guest speaker of coops momentous event. He emphasized the impact of electricity on the economic development that most of us are benefiting.
Dignitaries from the National and local government also graced the event. Hon. Edgardo R. Masongsong, NEA Administrator represented by Atty. Vicar LoureenLofranco, Acting head, Executive Assistant,NEA, Office of the Administrator. Hon. Governor Emmylou Mendoza of North Cotabato represented by Hon. Board Member Noel Baynosa, Hon. Jose “Ping Ping” Tejada, Congressman of 3rd Congressional District, Hon. Mayor Joseph Evangelista of Kidapawan City represented by Administrator Lou Mayormita and Hon. Mayor Florenito Gonzaga of Magpet.
Important coop events, programs and accomplishments were reported by General Manager Engr. Godofredo B. Homez. Other significant matters were also undertaken during the business meetings by the COTELCO Board of Directors headed by Board President Alfonso Jack Sandique together with the COTELCO management headed by GM Homez.
A hundred of raffle items were given away to the lucky member-consumers that comprised of motorcycles, Refrigerator, LED TV, electric fan, washing machine, sacks of rice and many more.
With the efforts of all COTELCO employees who were into different committees, the 36th AGMA of COTELCO Inc. was very successful with the theme “The Vision Lives On”. Thank you to all our valued member-consumer-owners for your untiring love and support.
