COTELCO believes that Education is crucial for our children to achieve their potential and be able to succeed in life. And to encourage and motivate them to attend school and take continued interest in their schooling, the Cotabato Electric Cooperative Inc. has distributed free school supplies to the Junior High School Students from Indangan National High School which is located at Indangan Makilala as the chosen beneficiaries for the Balik Ayuda Year 3 thru its COTELCO Workers Association (CWA) on 07 June 2018 wherein over 200 students received free school supplies.
Mr. Erwin Plana, the school head of Indangan High School, thanked COTELCO for choosing their school as the beneficiary of the said program. Present during the distribution were COTELCO Board President Alfonso Jack Sandique, COTELCO General Manager Engr. Godofredo B. Homez, COTELCO Department Managers, COTELCO Workers Association together with the school head, school staff and the Barangay Officials of Indangan who personally handed out the school supplies to the lucky students.
The thrust of the program is to support on providing good education to the children. COTELCO wished for the students continued success throughout their academic life. This is the third year that COTELCO is doing the Balik Ayuda Program mainly because of its commitment in helping the community by offering program like this for a brighter future. Last year, COTELCO provided grocery packs to more than 100 families in Barangay Patadon Kidapawan City.
