A total of 53 blood bags were collected during the COTELCO bloodletting day in partnership with the Kidapawan City Blood Bank and the Provincial Health Office on May 07, 2018 at Manubuan, Matalam Cotabato.
More than 100 employees undergone the screening process but only 53 employees who qualified to donate blood in order to save other’s lives.
Engr. Godofredo B. Homez, Genaral Manager of COTELCO, thanked all the employees who participated the said activity and also acknowledged them as the main contributors of their blood donation cause.
The bloodletting activity is in line with the celebration of the 46th Foundation Anniversary of Cotabato Electric Cooperative Inc. this coming May 16, 2018 and also COTELCO is committed to do it annually.
Our theme for this year is “A little pain a life to gain. Save a life. Donate your Blood”.
The activity was very successful because of the employees who participated in such noble cause and heroic act and with the support by the medical team headed by Dr. Ted Calica, Dra. Chedita Briones and Dr. Joel Nelton Sungcad.
