COTELCO thru its Multi- Sectoral Electrification Advisory Council (MSEAC) sponsored free school supplies and supplemental feeding to the students of Malugasa Elementary School in Barangay Liliongan, Carmen, NorthCotabato on 05 June 2018.
The program beneficiaries were 149 pupils from kindergarten to grade six students. The activity was part of the Cooperative Social Responsibility (CSR) of the Cotabato Electric Cooperative Inc., which aims to provide much needed supplies to students that will enable them to better prepare for the academic challenges they would face during their classes.
All this was made possible through the effort of MSEAC in Carmen North Cotabato headed by Board of Director Fernando Dugho Jr.
The rationale of the activity came from the belief that education plays a major role in uplifting the lives of the children according to the Area Services Deparment Manager Peter Dwight Sorrosa during his speech as he represents the COTELCO General Manager Engr. Godofredo B. Homez.
The said Program is being witnessed and supported by the Local Government unit of Carmen, Barangay officials from Liliongan, Carmen, Municipal Social Welfare and Development, the Member-Consumer-Owners (MCO) Federation President Samuel J. Dapon and the parents of the students.
